Unbreak my heart, it’s the first video that has made me cry. This video tells a story about a couple, that were very happy until he die in a motorcycle accident. It shows as to how much she misses him and how painful it is to be with out him. There is a part in the video where she is in her knees holding him in her arms, it reminds me of my husbands death when I was on the floor holding him the same way. Unbreak my heart goes very well with the song lyrics, its very emotional. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!

Black metal music definitely its not my taste!!!  The song Empty by Emperor, its scary, loud and has a lot of screaming.  This song gave me a headache and I didn’t understood what they were singing about until I look up for the lyrics. I like any type of music except black metal, celtic metal, gothic metal pretty much anything that it has to do with METAL its TOO LOUD for me. 

Social  and political commentary songs make good time capsules of history.  That is thanks to the songwriters such as, Roger Waters that came up with the song “Money” Wikipedia .

  MONEY by Pink Floyd it’s a good example of music with a social message.   This song talks about what money can bring, ”new car, caviar, four star daydream, think Ill buy me a football team”.  For money people commit crimes “money it’s a crime”.  Also, It talks about as to how people become greedy with money “share it fairly but don’t take a slice of my pie”.  ”Money so they say Is the root of all evil today” isn’t that TRUE?

I listen to radio all the time, especially B96 in the mornings I really like all the mainstream music out there and the variety of genres that they play. May 11, 2008 at 10pm, I listen to B96 on-air with Julian better known as the Night Ninja, it was pretty good as usual. For the most part they were playing music more than commercials. B96 played alternative rock, pop rock, southern rap, hip hop, pop, R&B, and R&B/rap. After every two to three songs Julian would say the title of the songs and artist names. Then some announcements such as; giving tickets for events, college, military, car insurance, condoms, and mortgage they are a minute and sometimes less than a minute long.

I listen to WHPK 88.5FM on May 11, 2008 at 7PM with DJ Bob Abrahamian. This radio station is dedicated to playing music not commonly heard on the mainstream which is amazing and I love it!!!!!! Bob was playing chicago soul and group soul mainly from the 60’s through the early 70’s with few commercials. After two songs Bob Abrahamian would said the songs titles and the artist names.

Differences between B96FM and WHPK 88.5FM, are that B96 only play alternative rock, pop rock, southern rap, hip hop, pop, R&B, R&B/rap, and hits. On the other hand, WHPK 88.5FMWHPK a non-profit radio station of the University of Chicago, consist of soul, rock, jazz, international, hip hop, folk, blues, dance music, and live in-studio performances.

Ray Charles

Ray charles version instrumentally has a more smooth relaxing sound (blues). The piano, guitar, and the flute played an important role through out the entire song.

However, Michael Bolton and Kenny G. version is more intense (jazz). Drums, piano, and saxophone are played in this version.

Ray Charles and Michael Bolton both sing beautifully but there’s no doubt that the version of Ray Charles is the authentic one.

In 2004, at the age of 21, Kalimba released his debut solo record, Aerosoul, to much critical acclaim and respectable market response. The record’s single, “Tocando Fondo,” landed on the Billboard charts in a variety of Latin categories.
