Reprise Records- Michael Buble: It’s Time

Michael Buble’s album It’s Time was produced by David Foster and Humberto Gatica. It was recorded and mixed by Humberto Gatica at Chartmakers studios. The record album that recorded Michael Buble: It’s Time is called Reprise Records. Reprised Records was discovered in 1958 by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Warner Bros., Records is the distribution label for Reprise Records. In the beginning this record label was created in order to allow more artistic freedom for their own recordings. Many famous past artists belonged to this record, including Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. While stand up comedian Redd Foxx and from 1961 to 63 such names as Bing Crosby, Jo Stafford, Cher, Chicago, Rosemary Clooney, Esquivel and many other past artists were apart of this label. Some of Frank Sinatra’s most famous music was produced at Reprise Records. Reprise Records is not just home to Michael Buble and these past artists, but also to many other current artists and bands today. Including the following, The Smashing Pumpkins, Avenged Sevenfold, The Used, Mastodon, Eric Clapton, Green Day, Fleetwood Mac, Josh Groban, My Chemical Romance and Disturbed. Reprise is also the North American label for British band Depeche Mode, and many other current artists.” It used to be home to Jimi Hendrix and the Barenaked Ladies’ catalogs in the United States of America. In 1963, Reprise Records was sold to Warner Bros., and many of the artists were let go, and the label started looking for young artists, beginning with the Kinks. Reprise would later add teen pop acts like Dino, Desi, & Billy and Nancy Sinatra before moving almost exclusively to pop-oriented music in the late 1960s. While in the late 1970s, Joni Mitchell and Captian Beefheart left the label, and Frank Sinatra requisted to be the sole artists, however Neil Yound refused to leave. And to this day Young is still on the record label. This record label has produced some of the most famous artists and bands of the past, present, and the future. (Wikipedia)
